Episode 37 – The Raid: Redemption (2011) and Dredd (2012)

It’s action movie week here on What’s On the Pile with two action masterpieces that are remarkably similar. First up is The Raid: Redemption, the Indonesian action flick directed by Gareth Evans about a group of cops ascending a monolithic tower to get to the drug lord at the top, followed by Dredd, the Karl Urban action flick about two law officers called Judges ascending a monolithic tower to get to the drug lord at the top.
